And I can take all of them while pregnant!
SunSweet Supra Fiber : It got me through show prep, it will get me through pregnancy! Psyllium Free, Gluten Free, NON GMO, Vegan, preservative free and the perfect mix of soluble and insoluble fiber. No matter how hard I attempt at getting my fiber from fiber rich foods, there comes a time when it still doesn’t help. This is hands down my favorite fiber supplement that doesn’t make me feel bloated and helps keep things moving smoothly. The bacteria in your large intestine that support more than your poop love fiber. Happy healthy gut flora means, happy immune system, and even happier mental state. I can only find it at Walgreens.
Aloe Vera Juice: Another lover to the intestine. I bought this brand at Wegmans, but I know Tops also carries a “juice” style that is ready to consume. This condensed version can be taken like a shot, or mixed with water. Again, I take it for digestive help and to keeps things moving. I have had horrible soreness in my toes, fingers, hips and knees and the only answer I have received as to why I have these aches is “It just comes with the pregnancy”. Taking aloe has definitely improved those aches!
Elderberry (Sambucas Nigra): I SWEAR by this not only for me, but for my daughter. I refuse to get a flu shot, or let my children get flu shots. We take this as a regular supplement, and (knock on wood) have avoided the majority of the sicknesses that have been passed around so far. Again it is safe during pregnancy, and safe for kids. I mainly take it to boost my immunity but it has many other awesome benefits too! Most store now sell gummies, or syrup. I usually buy the concentrate at wegmans ( best bang for your buck). The flavor kind of reminds me of loganberry. Oroginally used in 1995 in Panama to treat a flu epidemic, this berry is also for its antioxidants, to lower cholesterol, improve vision, boost the immune system, improve heart health and for coughs, colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections and tonsillitis.
Siggi’s Vanilla Yogurt: All Natural from grass fed cows, no preservatives, no HFCS, no artificial colors, gluten free and pretty much the most perfect yogurt out there. Im not a huge yogurt eater, but Gianna loves them. There are 14g of protein and only 9g of sugar which is astronomically low in the world of yogurts. I have found them on sale at Tops before , 10 for $10 holla!
