My favorite way to eat sauce (other than just with a spoon), is pouring it over a spaghetti squash. Does it taste like pasta? Absolutely not. Spaghetti squash does not really have too much taste to be honest with you. I feel like it takes form of whatever sauce it is covered in and is a great grain free alternative. Tops, Wegmans and other major grocery stores carry them most of the time, and i have also found them at Aldis! Here is how to cook it…

Turn over on to 420. Cut squash in half the long way. Add a small amount of water to a baking sheet with sides. ( this helps cook it a little faster). Place each half face down into the water on the sheet. Bake for 35- 45 minutes until soft. Once cooled, scrap out seeds with Fork then continue to scrap with fork to get the meat! It will pull apart like thick strings.

For those who like to skip through the reading part and just need blunt directions like I do:

Oven set to 420

Cut Squash in Half

Place face down on cooking sheet ( with edges filled with a small amount of water to cover bottom of pan)

Cook Time 35-45 Minutes.

Scrap our seeds with fork and discard.

Continue scraping for meat!
