At the Dani-fit studio, we love bacon. What better way to celebrate the holiday season than with the sacred meat candy?

“I cant believe you eat bacon, its going to make you fat and clog your arteries.”

SAYS WHO?!

Over and over again the “low-fat is healthy” cloud, over our food industry is finally lifting! Eating low in fat, and counting your calories DOESN’T WORK. Humans get fat due to a hormonal imbalance, not a calorie imbalance. What throws our hormones off? The excitement of insulin flowing in our blood stream. And who starts this party? Flour, Cereal, Grains, Starchy veggies, SUGAR, High fructose corn syrup AKA easily digestible, carbohydrate-rich foods. Conclusion: Fat will not make you fat. High carbohydrates and sugar will. Fat will not clog your arteries; Atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries)  is caused by inflammation, inflammation is caused by high insulin, high insulin is caused by easily digestible carbohydrate rich foods.

Here are 5 super easy, super delicious bacon wrapped recipes that will definitely make your appetizer the party favorite!
